Don't Wait For Perfection; Start Now!

When we have dreams, we have passion. When we have the power, we want to do it with the perfection.

Often, when we have some of the goals, we want to start them off strong. We want to become a star overnight. We want to achieve the best as quickly as possible. But things take time. It gets better with time, but the key is to start as soon as it possible.

What happens is that we have idea that we think can change our life or someone's life instantly. But we are not working on it until we have favorable positions. We are waiting for more time and more resources. Then, one day someone else built a product based on that idea, and we're sorry.

We have heard this statement, Oh, I had the same idea too, but I couldn't get started.

How often does perfection turn out to be our greatest enemy?

In the beginning, once an idea enters our mind, it takes a lot of time. We don't have enough information at first. We have some doubt in our mind, and worst of all, you want to start ideally. No, this is not possible most of the time. The feeling of "I'll do it perfectly" often stops us before we even begin.

Think about how much time we waste before taking the first step towards our goal. What happens is this. I was just about to start and realized you could do it better. Stop it and says I will do it tomorrow in a better way.

A few days passed, and I lost interest in the idea. It could be the business idea or something about the dream.

How do you deal with idea of perfection?

I'm looking for perfection. This is good. Try to do things as well as possible decent. But do not stop doing it because you can't do it perfectly. Take a step and keep learning. You will get better while doing this in your life.

Strive for continuous improvement, rather than its perfection: Kim Collins

Perfection? It is on everyone's mind. As soon as I change my current job, I will fulfill my dream. As soon as I earn that much, I will start my business. As soon as I have more time, I will start going to the gym.

How perfection ruined your dream:

Here is another example:

You want to become an artist like a singer, writer, painter, or anything. Let's say you get a chance to participate in an event and show off your ability if you try to find the excuse that you did not prepare well. This means that you are waiting for perfection. Don't just miss the opportunity.

  • Perfection is impossible, but we can achieve the excellence if we strive for perfection.
  • Yes! Implemented All is well, if not perfect. Keep learning:
  • We went for the interview, but it didn't go well.
  • We just got back from our holiday trip, but a few things are left to explore.
  • We just got back from a movie we watched with high expectations, but it turned out to be less than that (or a disaster).
  • It's okay if it's not perfect.

We often end up disappointed because something has underperformed our expectations. Things don't always happen our way. Life is exciting because it is unpredictable. The secret to lasting happiness is to enjoy the journey and never stop learning. Eugene Delacroix said that the artist who aims for its perfection in everything achieves nothing.
